Do you want to know how important your brain health is?

About the Brain Health Board

Our Brain Health Board is an evidence-based blueprint to help you get the best out of your brain. It was developed by our Founder and CEO Paul Spence, in partnership with the University of Hull, following his own personal experience of recovering from an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Paul discovered that by focusing on his brain’s health – and key factors such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, and more – he was able to build his resilience to adversity and stress, live with greater purpose and success, and become the best possible version of himself he could be.

These simple yet transformative strategies proved so effective for Paul’s own journey that we began incorporating them into our community-based services, to support other brain injury survivors during recovery. Today, it has become a powerful tool for anyone who wants to take better care of their brain and boost their performance at work, in education, in their social circles, and practically every aspect of their life.

Promoting brain health to children and young people

Our Brain Health Board is being used in schools and colleges to help children and young people understand how to look after their brains, with support from teachers and education professionals.

Supporting brain health in universities and workplaces

Our Brain Health Board is also being used at the University of Hull to support students during their studies, as well as in workplaces across the region to help power productivity and employee wellbeing.
