It’s time to dust off your bikes and saddle up cyclists as this year’s Humber Bridge Sportive will take place on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025!
Over 2,000 riders have participated and £125,000 raised for charity so far.
The Humber Bridge Sportive has become a highlight of the local cycling calendar. Established in 2014 by local cycling enthusiasts Ian Nicholls and Andy Cawley, it has grown into the successful cycling event we know today.
They wanted to create a fun, family cycling event and raise funds for various local charities and inspire young people to take up cycling. Ian and Andy are immensely proud of the event’s success, having raised over £125,000 and supporting 25 local charities, with over 2,000 riders taking part to date.
2024 Humber Bridge Sportive – A massive success
2024 was another huge success for the Humber Bridge Sportive, with over 400 riders participating and raising more than £15,000 for eight local charities. A heartfelt thank you to Ian, Andy, and all previous cyclists, volunteers, helpers, and sponsors who made this achievement possible. We hope you will continue to support this fantastic event in 2025 and beyond!
2025 Sportive | New Headquarters - Barton Town FC
Over the coming months, with the help of Ian and Andy, the P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery team will be working hard on planning the 2025 edition of this tremendous event. Due to essential engineering works on the Humber Bridge starting in April, the 2025 route will no longer include crossing the Humber Bridge. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Barton Town FC for kindly offering their club facilities as the event headquarters for the 2025 Sportive.
